When you start looking for a home there are 4 top things to look for!!
Are you looking to live in a big city, small town or even the country?
Make a list of your wants and needs for where you want to live.
Once you have found the location you will need to find the neighborhood you want to live in. Do you want to live by trails or be by the best school? Make sure that when you are looking to check the neighborhood out during the day and at night. Make sure it is the right fit for you and your family. You don’t want to buy a home that you later regret because it is to close to a school, business, or stadium and have issues with parking by your home.
Type of a home
When looking for a home there are many different types of homes. Make sure to see homes with different layouts. You may think you want a two storey or bungalow only to find out you really like a split level.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
This one you want to get right. You need to decide how many of each you need. You may say I only want a three bedroom, but what happens when you need an office or a craft room… You want to have enough bedrooms that work for you now and in the future. Bathrooms are a big one too! Do you really want to be fighting with your family trying to get ready in the mornings, when you only have one bathroom? I sure like to have my own bathroom!! Except I still have my kids and dogs trying to get in!!
